This cord works great! I use it to connect my lg oled tv to my surround sound system. The immersion is great! When something flies from left to right on screen, the sound flies from left to right in my movie room. Highly recommended.

My recent JBL soundbar purchase was complete by also picking up this inexpensive optical cable, My TV is an older Samsung flatscreen with no eARC capability so I bought this cable to complete the connection. It was the easiest plug & play setup ever as I literally connected the wire, plugged in the soundbar and subwoofer to electrical outlets, and the TV immediately detected the soundbar as an audio source, So if you have an older TV with no eARC connection get yourself this inexpensive optical cable and enjoy crystal clear audio for yourself!

I have a JBL500 and works great. Audio output from my TV is channeled to my JBL speaker its super simple and intuitive I was having some issues with Bluetooth connecting to my phone and not the TV then I tried to use HDMI but my wife uses the switch and I dint want to manually swap cables. With the optical cable my JBL uses a different mode instead of Bluetooth or HDMI and it works in sync with my TV turning on and off and great sound also the switch which is plugged into my TV, its output is channeled to the speaker with this cable, so im super happy. MAKE SURE BOTH HAVE A slot for cable. If you don't have the problem I do then just use HDMI.

These Optical audio cable works on our old TV. The picture is just amazing, much better than with the HDMI cables alone. Our setup - HDMI attached to Cable & Optical Cable to DVD. We didn't think it would make a difference, but it does. We have old TV with 720 and it looks like 1080! Sharp and clear and sound is crystal.

I bought this cable for a sound Splitter from an HDMI splitter box and so far the sound is great. It is not distorted or fuzzy

This is a good, basic cable that works fine for all applications. The price was very reasonable. You could spend more, but there is no reason unless you costly, have-end gear that demands better cables.

4 feet was the perfect length and $20 the perfect price. Connectors snapped firmly into both components and it performs as advertised without issue. Even feels like a quality item. Why spend more when there’s no benefit?

I only buy rocketfish electronic components because of the high quality build versus the "free" cables that are provided from the manufacturers. I have rocketfish for my optic cables to HDMI - no issues at all! highly recommend.
