Works exactly as hoped. Combo with banana plugs to wire my custom Sony Dolby 7.2 system. Offers fine sound quality and are quite thick and durable for 16g wire, which also means a bulky wiring setup if you dont leave enough space to properly route the cables to their areas, i bought an extra spool of 50 ft just in case and didnt need but Best Buy took it right back no hassle. Will be moving soon and will need to rewire for larger area, so i intend to buy more.

I don’t know how you really review how good wire is. Quality sounds good and it was long enough to reach from speaker to receiver.

Best bang for the buck. I used this to wire up components and signal for the powered subwoofer. Does the job and couldn't tell a difference from the premium wire I had from another store.

Brand loyalty purchase to support Best Buy for always being there for when I'm in need of small things like this and being able to get it same day, either delivery of pickup. As far as the wire quality? Sounds good to my ears, quality packaging — I have never been disappointed having bought the 30' and 50' offerings.

Solid wire. Available in varying lengths that make it able to but what you need and not have unusable leftovers. Price is good.

Bought this for my new speakers! Easy to use and not too pricy

This Rocketfish 16AWG wire is fantastic quality compared to some of the older spools I had laying around—well worth it when you're spending hundreds or thousands on your system. My only caution is that it's pretty thick: you may have trouble inserting this into some spring-clip type posts. I was able to use it with a Yamaha receiver and vintage JBL 4406 Studio monitors.

Great wire for the price. Only complaint that I wish positive and negative side were more clearly marked.

I used this wire for my Klipsch R-820F speakers. They’re being driven by a 120 watt Harmon-Kardon receiver. I called Klipsch and the said for the short distance between my speakers and amp that 16 gauge wire was fine. Rocketfish uses copper, which is surpassed only by silver as the best conductor of electricity. Much better than steel. This wire will definiteky meet your needs for quality sound.

great quality of speaker wire a bit expensive but it did the job

I was using this cable to replace old speaker wire that was too thick and didn't go into the holes of the red or black screw knobs that connect the speaker and wire/ receiver and wire. This wire was difficult for me to peel back with single edge razor blade but my friend was able to do it. Wire fit right into the holes so perfectly that I know it won't be coming out because I move the floor speakers to vacuum behind them. Because of this wire my sound is perfect.

MY "BEST BUY" -ING SUGGESTION: Buy these speaker wire lengths (30, 50, 100 feet) as "Open Box" items: You'll save $5 to $10 (or so) AND you'll probably still receive a factory sealed reel of wire. No matter what, I really don't think Best Buy will "short" you (pun intended) and if they do, and you can reasonably prove it, I'm SURE they will make it up to you. ... Nearly 15 years of experience with Best Buy makes me positively assured about making such a claim, FOR SURE!

Great speaker wire for the price and quantity. wired up my entire garage on just one roll.

I didn’t see the reviews and was suggested by Best Buy associate at the store as a good wire for my new receiver. When I used the wire, I was really happy to see the quality of the wire and it really worked seamlessly with my receiver without the need of any banana plugs. I actually returned the reciever as I got a better one in few more dollars but I kept the same wire for the new reciever. If you want a speaker wire, I would say go for it without thinking much.
