I use premium HDMI cables to bring out Deep Color / HDR /4K in the latest LG OLED 4K UHD TV. This is my first opportunity to purchase a Rocketfish cable from Best Buy instead of the much more expensive and highly advertised premium cable brand. The 2 photos show Rocketfish HDMI plugged into my 65" LG OLED, next to more expensive, competitive premium cables. The picture quality through the Rocketfish HDMI is stunning using 4K UHD Blu-ray & Amazon 4K Fire TV playing 4K source material. I could not see any difference between the Rocketfish and the most highly advertised brands shown in my photo that cost several times more. Examinations of the cable's physical attributes show very expensive materials, with no shortcuts. The cable is very thick (approximately 3/8" diameter) because of the extra shielding in the cable. The plugs are made of cast aluminum, an incredibly strong, lightweight material with the highest shielding properties - the thickness & the plugs are exactly the same as the most expensive "premium brand" cables. Beware of THIN HDMI cables. They lack the extra layer of shielding that is essential to reduce RFI interference, which can show up as color imbalance between Red, Blue & Green. Thin HDMI cables cost less, and are less expensive to manufacture. Avoid plastic plugs, because they lack the interference shielding of metal. On the "high end" extreme, Cast aluminum plugs add physical strength to great shielding (they won't break if hit). This cable made a believer out of me. Rocketfish offers the absolute BEST in quality 4K UHD Deep Color HDR signal transmission with the highest shielding from signal interference at the best value. Rocketfish earns my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

I needed an HDMI cable for a new Roku 4K streaming device. I am not sure I had to spend this much to get one that would work, but the quality looked a lot better than the next less expensive one, and it wasn't that much less. I know some people believe in buying expensive cables and others think it's a total waste of money and you should just buy the cheapest one you can get. I'm somewhere in the middle. The plugs and the quality of the casing is important just in terms of durability. Whether the electronic signal that's transmitted over an expensive cable is superior to a less expensive cable is way beyond my knowledge level.

Alright, everyone questions why some HDMI cables cost more than others. Here's why: they carry more data, and have less transmission errors than cheaper ones. This cable is very high quality and the audio/video errors are much, much lower in this cable than any other cables I've bought at Best Buy. The cable is thick, the ends are heavy, and it just feels expensive and well made. If you have a 4K TV, this is a must. Using the cheaper cables will NOT get you the 4K picture you paid for. I use these on all of my 4K TVs and have never had a problem with them.

I have had my eye for the Rocketfish HDMI 4K Cable for quite some time but $40+ for a simple cable was absolutely absurd to pay for. But when the cable was on sale for $8 (I think, I don't remember), I didn't hesitate and bought it. Very sturdy and of great quality, which is awesome, but may be a problem if it is installed in a tight space. Video and sound is great, no issues there, it works as it is intended to.

Good Quality product, easy to install myself and long enough to reach my other products.

Got this excellent quality hdmi cable to use on my ps4 and it works good so far. Haven't noticed any problems since using for a couple months but can't really tell the difference from using the old hdmi the ps4 included. Still it's nice to have an extra backup in case one fails. Got this on sale at the store so made it a even better purchase! Would get another right away if it goes on sale again.

I use this on my old TV and this cable gives me an amazing high quality picture. My old high quality HDMI cable barely compares to the quality that this cable gives my TV picture. I am so glad that my old cable cord went bad and I decided to go with this 4K ultra HDMI cable cord. BTW, I went with a 4K so I'd be ready to plug in to a new 4K TV when my old TV goes bust.

A pretty solid HDMI cable. Was on the market for a new one, came across this on a really good sale price. Have yet to test this out on any 4K device, but so far for my standard HD stuff (Xbox One, PS4 and Switch), seems to be doing a pretty good job! Length of cable is pretty decent too! Not too long, and not too short. Cable cord also feels pretty premium!

I don't know much about the technical features of this type of cable, but when I liberated this cable from it's packaging I was impressed with it's feel. This cable is stout! Just a heavy, well made feel to it. It has connected my Blue ray player to my Samsung tv for almost 6 months and seems quite happy. Would definitely recommend this product.

I have had a 4k TV for a while and have only been using regular HDMI cables until I tried this 4kHDMI and OMG! The difference in quality does not even compare. I hope you are not missing out on precious quality due to your HDMI cable because I have a PS4 Pro and using this cable it truly brings out the beauty of 4K onto my TV. Which is priceless!

I needed an an HDMI cable for using a 4K TV as a computer monitor.Contrary to what some computer revew sites say,there ARE differences in cables. This supports 18gb bandwidth and HDMI 2.0a.which DEFINITELY improved the picture quality on an already impressive set-up.The difference was obvious even to a friend who is only a casual viewer.

I have a 4K TV and blu Ray player but didn't get the benefit of the 4K until I bought this HDMI cable. Regular HDMI want do the job, songorbthe money this was the best deal and it does make a difference for true Ultra HD veiwing. Cable length was not too long or short. Heavy duty construction and connectors. Helped complete my system.

Did the job reasonable price high quality easy to use

My Rocketfish 4K Ultra HD HDMI cable performs as well as or better than a 4K Ultra HD HDMI cable that is three times the cost of this Best Buy product. In fact, I was so impressed that I bought two more 6" Rocketfish HDMI cables for my other TV's.

Just purchased a new 65' 4K HD Samsung TV. For comparison purposes used my old hdmi cables to view then switched to the new Rocketfish 4K Ultra HD hdmi cables and definitely noticed a much better picture! Don't skimp on the cables! Definitely worth the extra investment for the best picture.

This cable represents excellent value. The quality is comparable to Monster-branded cables at significantly lower cost. The cable fits well into the HDMI jacks on my TV and Blu-ray player. The picture quality with this cable on my Samsung 4K television is spectacular even with the cable feed.

I bought two of these on sale as "buy of the day". I check that every day for bargains. Cable does what is supposed to do and seems like a fairly well made thing. Price was the deciding factor for me. I would have bought cheap ones off eBay if I hadn't found this one on bestbuy.com.

You need this grade of HDMI cable to attach your PS4 to your 4K ultra HD TV if you plan on maximizing your enjoyment of the imagery and want to really enjoy virtual reality (VR) images. Plenty of length, but doesn't tangle. Highly recommend it as an add on purchase.
