This surge protector ROCKS

Then I stumbled onto this Rocketfish that fits the neatness factor. The only drawback that I see is that you cannot plug anything else into the 2nd outlet... but this is minor trade off for all the wires, I only wish they had had white. That color would have matched my decor better.

Swivel Tap surge protector with 2 USB ports

The 6 outlets spin at a 45 degree angle, to make it easy to connect electronics and still place furniture against the surge protector. The USB ports charge super fast and are placed at the top. This allows for easy access and prevents the USB cables from bending when you place furniture near the protector.
