The main plug fits in any wall outlet with 2 in a column, where the top one being used, and the bottom one being hidden by the main body. A piece of plastic sticks out to fit in the ground pin at the bottom of the wall outlet. It's good for 15A, but the surge protection is only up to 400 V. The withstood energy in joules is not specified. OK for small appliances, but may not suitable for voltage-sensitive devices.
