Item does what it claims to do, i especially like how i can run the coax cable and lan cable through it for another added level of protection.

I have a number of their surge protectors in the house. Recently we had a short power outage that caused our (rather expensive) clothes dryer to "freak out" until my wife figured out how to reset it. I had never considered a surge protector in the laundry room but we have one now (this one)! I'd give this a 5 start but the layout of the plugs is wrong. I see they used to be vertical and I'm guessing the change was to keep power supplies and such from blocking other plugs. Well, the 90° rotation was done in the wrong direction. Our washing machine has a 90° outlet plug and when plugged in, the cord extends over the outlet on the opposite side, rendering it useless. In my case, I don't need all 6 so not a deal breaker but this could have been done better.

I picked up the Rocketfish 6-Outlet to clean up the cable mess behind my desk, and it’s been a great little upgrade. It gives me six surge-protected outlets and two USB ports, which is perfect for charging devices without needing extra adapters. The swivel outlets are super handy — I can angle them to fit big plugs or power bricks without blocking the others. It feels well built and adds 2100 joules of surge protection, which gives me peace of mind for my electronics. The only small downside is that it can feel a little loose if you’re plugging or unplugging heavier cords, and it’s a bit pricier than a standard wall tap. Still, for the flexibility, protection, and extra USB ports, it’s definitely worth it.

Swivel position would not lock in place. Felt like the wires were pushing back when you tried to swivel it to the side so it would not lay flat against the wall. Lots of good reviews but I guess I recieved a bad one. Returning it.

Store 302, the one in skokie IL. Sent a clearly open box item when i requested a new one. This a cheap item and i really shouldn't care, but their inventory is probally really terrible if they have to send open box items to fulfill new in box orders

Got this for my gaming setup and its various accessories, and I love it! The swivel feature is helpful for arranging some of the shorter cords better, and while it hasn't HAD to protect my devices from any surges yet, I don't doubt that it would. I will say the indicator light is very bright (if you're putting it in a bedroom or something), but also useful for knowing its status

I was looking for additional outlet with protection and I love how the outlets move to side so that you can move furniture closer to the walls and I love that it has 2 usb outlets on top so that you have the plugs separate from the USB

I like the organized look of my charging station. Also sleep better knowing my costly devices are protected from a power surge. Having the extra USB ports is also very nice. Good Quality and looks nice.

This is a very high quality product. The swivel outlets are a great way to hide bulky transformers and the USB ports are an amazing convenience. If you know anything about surge protection, you'd realize that this product offers more protection than any of the competing products I've seen. At the same time, the price of this product definitely reflects that, with this product being at least $10-$20 more expensive than other similar models (that admittedly offer less but still good protection). The only potential negative I would point out is that I was not able to use this product in single outlet receptacle. I believe you need to plug it into a receptacle that has at least two, three-pronged outlets because there is plastic prong on the back of this product that plugs into the ground slot of the second outlet for stability. Overall, if you want the best protection available without having to worry about your electronics getting fried in a surge (and you like the sleek black look of this product) you probably won't be disappointed!
