It plugs into the wall so it doesn't clutter the floor. The outlets swivel to the side so you can put equipment closer to the wall. I like the USB chargers on top.

I did a lot of searching and this one was perfect for the areas that we needed extra outlets and USB ports for our devices. I liked it so much that we bought another one for another area of our house. No more high pitch frequency that drove me nuts.
