I recommend plugging this surge protector into the top outlet (of the two on a standard wall outlet), as this will help it remain stable. The sides swivel which is convenient when you need to unplug and item and the top has space for two USB style chargers. In addition there are lights on the bottom which indicate that the surge protector is a)plugged into a power source and b) grounded in the power source. All in all, I would say this is an excellent purchase for the money.
