The only negative is that for some of the more stubborn plugs I have to put a little pressure in the surge protector to keep it in place while I pull out the plug. The usb charges work as advertised and are convenient to use.

We’ve had it for a month and haven’t had any storms but it gives me peace of mind after spending hundreds on a new tv. The outlets swivel so it makes it easy to plug in multiple things behind an entertainment center.
