    Gives me great peace of mind. I can connect my computer equipment to one power strip and not have to worry about a power surge. The only knock against it is that the plug outlets are spaced only for direct plug ins by power cords. The bulky power cords take up two spaces.

    My old surge protector must not have worked it fried all the hdmi and other plugs in my old tv, yhis item hasnt failed yet
