Always get a new surge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So, as I stated most people when buying surge protectors buy one maybe two every couple of years. I would suggest if you are getting a new high dollar electronic to buy a new surge protector also. Whether you buy this kind or another just check the rating and what kind of protection it offers. Plus if you have had a big power spike that took out your power or a lightening strike to your home/office you need to replace the surge protector. It will still work as a multi plug device but the Internal components may have been tripped making it useless.

My only complaint is the inability to turn off individual outlets as is possible with my older surge protector.

Great gift to go with new 4K TV

It works great and gives the TV quality pictures. The surge protector is great and I like that it has coverage included if you lose your products due to a power surge. Prior to this, we'd lost 2 TV's, but after using this we haven't had any issues. I only wish I'd bought more or there were more than 7 outlets!
