This 4k hdmi has an option to connect your cable through it to protect your tv from power surges from your cable company, GREAT BUY and WELL WORTH IT to save your tv from ALL possible power surges !!

Other more expensive cords - even more "well known" names - no point in spending the extra cash for the same quality with Rocketfish. I own several HDMI cords and surge protectors from them - no complains at all. They are not flimsy or cheaply made either.

I purchased it online and had my wife pick it up while she was in the area of the store. I even had my name for the pickup and was easily able to go in later and change it to her name.
