I ran the cable in wall, above ceiling, and plug it in and it would not send signal to projector. I started ruling out item by item ps3, projectors, AV receiver, rca cables, well it ended up being a bad HDMI if I went and wiggled/jiggled/moved the HDMI connection where it connected to the AVR the signal would come on. Well long story short I took it back exchanged it and the second one worked flawlessly without any other modifications except replacing this hdmi. It sends good signal and more than anything it stays on without me having to mess with it. It is heavy cable and it can be a pain running it and connecting it to your electronics. I would not buy it again for the price. But I was in a hurry.
