I know I am going home with everything I need even if I don't know exactly what I,m looking for. Employees seem to just know what I'm talking about when I don't and I don't feel dumb or old! The cord has plenty of length and is an easy fit. Makes our entertainment system much more enjoyable.

I purchased this item to go along with the Apple TV allowing crisp clean audio, to come out from the surround system making music, movies and other apps be heard with joy. Plus it can also make my TV connect with ease to the surround system without all the extra cables.

The optical cable is of good quality. Worth the price especially purchased through Deal of The Day. Although length is 8 feet, perhaps more than needed but comes handy if entertainment center is used. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product and well priced. I highly recommend using an optic cable is your system has that capability and the 8' variant provides ample length to use in and around any TV and sound bar or receiver configuration.

First off, let me start by saying that Jerry Jerome was extremely helpful when helping me find this product. I honestly didn't know about this product until he mentioned it to me. Basically, I wanted to project sound from my TV to my surround sound, but I didn't quite know how to get it done. When I asked Jerry about the product that I thought would originally work, he let me know that what I was going to purchase was for an entirely different function, and he pointed me out to this product instead. Jerry even when great lengths to draw me two diagrams of how to setup my surround sound, and when I followed his diagram, everything worked out exactly the way I wanted it to. I am very satisfied with his customer service, and I believe a lot more employees should help out customers the way Jerry does!

Optical cables can get pretty expensive. This one was a good price. The construction was put together very well with quality. This cable provide great sound and it was plenty long enough.

The Rocketfish audio cable works like a charm- we needed a longer cable than provided with our SONOS Soundbar, and this did the trick - the sound is extraordinary! We are enjoying all types of audio all day everyday.

I got a new Sony Bravia 65" 4K (the 850c) and realized the only connection to the stereo is optical. We ONLY use the stereo for watching TV/Movies/OnlineContent. I have a Pioneer 500 watt stereo with 2 Realistic Mach 1 speakers and 2 Realistic Mach 2 speakers with separate midrange, tweeter, and 15" woofers along with a Bose center channel speaker. The sound is perfect and much better than the analog RCA connection that I had with the old RCA DLP TV. The TV doesn't have variable out which was a disappointment, but we got the Harmony 650 remote that solves the problem. It allows us to use the channel buttons to work the DirecTV Genie box while allowing the volume control to work the stereo. I highly recommend.

The cable works great, and it provides excellent optical audio for the money. I use it to stream audio from my tv, because the tv is capable of streaming 4k but my Xbox One cannot. Easy to use, great product.

Bought this for my surround sound. Great quality and cost much less than the expensive brands. If you need a good cable for cheap, this is the one.

i purchased this cable for the length, since the optical cable that came with my sound bar was too short. this one was a great replacement. works as it should. ...appears sturdy.

I used this to digital optical cable to connect my AppleTV to my receiver. This provided an easy and excellent digital and physical connection with excellent sound quality and no static or drops.

All I had to do was open the product out of the box and plug it, while switching my audio settings on my 4k tv and it worked right away. I connect my tv with a sound bar and have had no problems.

This is a great cable, the 8 ft length is very nice and makes it much easier for larger setups. The quality of the physical cable is nice and sturdy and the sound is awesome.

Used to hook up some Bose speakers to a tv. The cord that came with system was too short and really thin. This one is better quality and is the perfect length.

The cable was at a competitive price and works great with my relatively inexpensive sound bar on my Vizio 4K TV. Easy to install and cuts down on cable clutter behind the set.

The Rocketfish digit optical audio cable performs it's job. The sales associate person offered it with the sound bar at time of purchased and the sound comes out clean and neat. I would buy more from now on in case I need them. And comes in different sizes in case of larger length. .
