We purchased our first smart tv and could not wait to enjoy it. I connected it to my stereo for surround sound, but there was no audio. The video worked great, but the only sound came from the tv speakers, not the cool surround speakers I has installed. I did a little research and realized that I needed a digital optical cable to go from the tv to the stereo to solve this problem. It works great and sounds so good.

It works. Seems to be a very good cable, nice length and a great price.I am satisfied.

Needed a long one. Bought this and at 45 years of wiring stereos and systems used this new fiber cord. Works great, but here's the secret, take the dang plastic tip covers off to make it work!! Nowhere in any dang instruction manual does it says remove end covers! I was so PO'd I was blind! 3-secs at Best Buy the door guy chuckled and said let me show you. He'd done it 7 times in his past and admitted I was #8!!! Goober Me!

I needed an optical cable to complete my Rocky installation. Well made - great price!

I was not getting surround sound whenever I ordered movies from my cable provider, or when ordered over the internet. I thought I needed a digital optical audio cable, but I was not real sure. I went to my local Best Buy store and a very knowledgeable and helpful clerk confirmed my diagnosis. He offered advice, for which I was thankful. This Rocketfish cable is working great. The price was right, and the quality is excellent.

Most cords these days are to short. The 8 feet on this cord gives me options for placement of my electronic equipment. I'm getting really good sound quality.

This little cable dramatically improved our viewing experience and the sound quality is amazing. After spending over $100 on 'ultra high speed' HDMI cables we were still getting occasional voice lag from our receiver while watching 3D movies on our 4K TV. To resolve this issue we connected the Blu-Ray directly to the TV via HDMI then added this optical cable from the TV to the receiver--now the voice matches the picture perfectly all the time. Even better every component connected to the TV now uses the same optical connection to the receiver and we no longer need to change the receiver input when switching between TV inputs. Just remember to take the small caps off each end of the cable before trying to force them into the optical ports on the TV and Receiver!

Bought this optical cable to complete my connections for my new Sony Bravia TV to my Sony amplifier....I wanted a Sony cable but it was not available so I bought the Rockerfish cable with some hesitation but to my surprise the Rocketfish cable ROCKS and I am very satisified with my purchase and would buy another.....

My new LG 4K TV required this type of audio cable for output. I purchased and picked it up from Bestbuy with ease. The cable has rubber caps on the end of the fiber tips so be sure to remove before attempting to install. The installation from the TV to the soundbar was simple--lined up the shape and pushed in till I heard the click. The sound quality has been excellent!

Great audio quality and perfect length for runnging cable through the wall

Purchased the cable to work with new TV I purchased from Best Buy. Needed to extend to my room surround sound receiver. Easily hooked each end up and immediately, I had the pleasure of surround sound. Couldn’t use HDMI since my surround system was old but it enabled me to not need to repurchase a new one. Sound was great across the fiber optics, no problems.
