I can't use it. I strongly recommend that you reach out to your Internet provider if you are using a cable line-based Internet connection and want to protect it to find what they recommend. The same goes for the phone line if you are using that for data / Internet connectivity. Otherwise you run the risk of not having Internet access or having service problems.
