It is nice to have "switched" and "always on" outlets.

The installation was easy and it seems to work well.

USB, Coax, and phone line ports are useless to me, however the protection provided is pretty good. I think it costs more because of the unnecessary ports listed above. Fairly certain you can get average protection at a much better price.

Bought this surge protector intended for an 82 inch Samsung TV however the fine print indicates not for television....disappointed.

Before buying this for our cable ready TVs, we lost two TVs. With the surge coming in through the cable. That's right, cable ! Live in Florida and there is a lot of lighting. When it hits the ground it travels, and bang there goes our TV. All our lines (electric & cable are underground BUT go figure the lighting found the main above ground box, twice. Now I have no worries!

I bought 3 of these as I needed new Surge protecters. Using the 1st one I found it very difficult to put the plug in the strip. I see others have mentioned this as well. It's the first time I've has this issue with a surge protector.

Performs as expected. No issues since purchase. Kinda expensive for what it is, but I understood that when I bought it.

Has evenly spaced outlets which is great. Not to mention USB ports for charging purposes so you don't tie up ports on your main computer and so you don't have to leave a computer on simply to charge USB cord only devices. Haven't had a surge yet, but I'm sure the surge protector could handle it. As always, if it's stormy outside, unplug anyway. :)

I purchased this surge protector for the line filter, but it did not stop the speaker “pop” from my mini-fridge compressor turning on/off. I was only hoping, and didn’t really expect it to be removed.

This is a great surge suppressor that is nearly completely undone by a power switch so bad that it feels like the breeze from a ceiling fan on low could turn the unit off.

I haven't had a surge with this so it is hard to rate. But my previous surge protector (not a Rocketfish) failed & cost a couple of hundred $$ to replace various items. It did Not have the protection for the coax cable that this one does. Hopefully this Rocketfish protector will keep that from happening again.

Where we live, our home has been hit by lightning 4 times in a year and a half. We used to have trees all around but the tornado of 2011 took those so we are like sitting ducks up on this hill. This product does the trick!! With the last bad storm, we had zero lightning strikes take out anything plugged into it!!

used the cable in\out put and the cable TV broke up. Assume the surge protector is ok, but the cable in\out put does not handle cable TV signals

It's a pretty basic surge protector and multi outlet strip. This one seems like a good value for the money in providing more protection from surges than some comparable models at less cost. Like the plug configuration and extra space for the oversized transformer plugs that are prevalent on electronics.

I purchased a new desk and caddy and my old power strip wasn't adequate for all my devices. This product is great for a computer and all those big plugs they require. The power strip spaces 4 of the 8 plugs on their own, making it easy to plug all your devices on just one. Definitely recommend!

Very nice, excellent finish, compact for a 8 plug protector. Have other Rocket Fish products that are working and holding up extremely well thru years of use. Was a (xxxxx) don't know if I can say other brands until RF came out and the other has priced themselves right out of the market.

This is doing its job very well. We get lots of T'storms here and have lost power several times since this purchase. No harm has yet to come to my connected elec components. I really like the cable coax line protector, and USB ports for safe phone charging. Very pleased.

I bought this power strip with my Netgear modem because the lightning destroyed my previous two modems (Motorola from Walmart) I gave it 2 stars because when I ran my coax through the power strip it didn't allow the Comcast signal to come through. But it does have a decent amount of plugs and the arrangement of the plugs is great for bulky power adapters.
