What's infuriating about so many surge protectors is they seem to come from a world where bower bricks don't exist and the only PSU's around are the kind that live inside their hardware. This one, while bulky, is perfect for accommodating the bigger 'brick'-style cords like the ones that come with Chromecast, Fire Stick, Nintendo Switch -- really just a ton of devices. The price you pay is spatial--this thing is really pretty big and unseemly, but the trade-off is worth it.

I'm not a techie, so I've learned before buying to read up on a given subject until I understand. So, before purchasing a powerstrip for both a computer and new TV, we researched extensively what experts in the field say a powerstrip must do; and this one fit the bill. Short of a direct hit, I want my equipment protected. Fortunately, it's not been put to the test, but I rest assured it will do what I want and need it to do: protect my equipment from surges. Yes, it costs more, but it does more.

Great price I bought 5. I’m always helping someone set up a new TV and their extension cords are so outdated. Now I can accommodate them with an up-to-date extension cord. however I wish the court was longer

I was recommended this surge protector after my last one didn't stop a lightening storm blowing my old HD Tv. It was recommended due to its grounding and protection capabilities over normal surge protectors. I have been highly pleased with the quality and protection so far. It even made it through our last storm flawlessly. I hope this continues to work well. The only issue I have is that these bad boys are expensive...but I guess you have to pay for quality performance anymore! SO FAR, SO GOOD!

2017 Storms this year in Central NY have been ferocious and damaging! Most unfortunately, power surges and brown outs have accompanied many of these storms, and the resulting line damage to connected electrical and electronic equipment has been substantial. By way of comparison since I lack sufficient metering devices for accurate data collection, what I CAN say with confidence is that nothing attached to my Rocketfish Surge Protector has experienced any trouble whatsoever, while my neighbors in the same building have experienced "blown" appliances and computers.

I am a musician and producer, and so I have lots of surge protectors. (I also am into home audio and gaming). One of the nice thing about this surge protector is that it has the USB ports for charging your phone etc, and it's protection rating is very high. For the money, I think it is well worth it. There are surge protectors that are more than double the price that aren't rated as high. Next time I need a surge protector I'll probably get another one of these. This is actually my second one. It's nicely made, well thought out and the specs and features are just what I wanted.

Highly recommend especially for people who deal with occasional blackouts or loss of power. I had to purchase because when my power went out, my tv stopped working and I felt like it was due to my cheap power surge I purchased in a convience store. Worth every penny especially if you want to protect anything valuable

These are one of the most important pieces of gear for home theaters!!! They can provide very important JOULE protection. This is what saves your TV during a power outage or surge. The higher the number, the more protection you’ll have. So while eventually that protection does get worn down, like a shield, I swear by these products. Best Buy is one of the few places that carries MANY surge protectors (not just power strips!!) and more than most other retailers.

Go ahead and grab your cables ladies and gentleman, finally a surge protector worthy of your gucci lifestyle that you truly desire, and that your cables also desire. 6 outlet protectors? Get outta here with that non-sense. This bad boy had a whopping EIGHT outlets on it. Your cables will love it and your husband or wife might just adore the wisdom you had when buying this product. (Also works when trying to impress the ladies for a special movie night).

My old strip was 7 outlets, in a row, with a master outlet (which I despise). This was the perfect upgrade. The wide ports are spaced very well and I have two odd plugs that are problematic vertically and horizontally. This solved it no problem. Also, NO MASTER OUTLET. I can't wait until that 'feature' goes the way of the dodo. Great buy and since I don't have a huge amount of high powered rack components, this was perfect for my accessory needs (TV, PS4, printer, A/V receiver, Chromecast, DirecTV receiver, controller charging station, powered subwoofer).

I purchased this product because my old monster surge protector was over 10 years old. It was large and heavy. This rocketfish unit was compact and lightweight. It works great and doesn't require much space. It just what I needed.

It works as intended! The lights aren't too bright on this so I don't have to turn it off every night and the plug sits almost flesh to the wall which makes this amazing when trying to maximize space in a small room.

Excellent product! I have them all over my house and I don't have to worry about the storms frying my electronics. Also, you can mount this item, it doesn't have to stay on the floor or hanging like other surge protectors do.

4 normally spaced outlets. 4 widely spaced outlets for transformer plugs. 2 USB, Coax in/out, and network in/out are Rocketfish just showing off! 6-foot power cord is very helpful. Easy-to-see lights to ascertain power disruptions to any device. This is a large surge protector tablet, but in my opinion that's a very good thing because for me, accessibility of normal "power strips" can be a challenge.

It's a surge protector... I'm hoping it protects the rest of my equipment when lightning strikes my Starlink dish mounted on the 26' pole. The surge protector at least "works" so far.

Finally got around to setting up my Rocketfish surge protector. It works great. I already have several in my home, this being the largest. The other ones have 7 plugs. I like this better, because it has 8 plugs, in addition 2 usb's, 2 ethernet, and 2 coax. It wide and allows more room for the larger plugs, I feel comfortable knowing my electronics are protected. Rocketfish always has my vote.

Bought to use as surge protector for my new TV. I like to design and the fact that it has 8 outlets. Having 3600 Jules was a part of my decision to buy this particular protector. So far so good, no problems. However, its very new at this point.

I bought this for my daughter who attends Texas A&M because of the power grid flickering and power surges. I really liked the device because it has a high joules range and it can protect 8 outlets, 2 usb, internet and cable.

I was looking for a surge protector that can accommodate my setup, and this does the job. The only downside is the Ethernet protection this device offers. When I ran my home network into this device, I noticed a huge difference in speed. After running a Speedtest on two separate devices, my download speed dropped from 944 Mbps to 89 Mbps. It’s not the end of the world not using the surge protector capabilities on this device, but you’d figure that since it was being offered it would be able to accommodate high speed internet.
