    This surge protector lies flat and contains ample outlets and usb inputs. Can't think of anything I'd need in this type of appliance

    I bought this for the coax surge protection, as we had had a lightening strike surge that came through the cable (not the power) and knocked out the TV as well as the DVD player and Wii that were hooked up to it. We are hopeful this will prevent this from happening again. Won't know until next time.
