    You can find a pretty broad spectrum when it comes to Audio video cables. Anything from wet twine to gold plated everything, are examples. These are middle of the road and eliminated a slight buzz I was getting because of some EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interface) induced by a component. Do quality cables make a difference? Yes. But, use some common sense and realize that the money you spend should be proportional to the quality you are looking to maintain.
