The rocket fish 8ft cable is a great alternative to cheap audio cables. The connections are snigger and contact better as well as having thicker and more structural cables. Had never purchased rocketfish before this, but the only other option were really cheap insignia and overpriced monster cables. I also like the length 8ft which gives you enough extra room to reach across the entertainment center without having a ton of excess slack.

Used these to connect a turntable and they are very low noise cables. Functioned well.

I bought these to go along with the Rocketfish Component Cables I have. They replace a cheap pair of rca stereo cables. A huge difference in sound quality. I basically use the component and stereo rca cables for hooking up my HD DVR box to my Samsung tv. Way better than using the HDMI input for the cable box at least. No more picture problems since the cable box doesn't use the HDCP Handshake to let the tv know it is compatible.

Honestly I purchased this by mistake I went to best buy to buy a single subwoofer cable and was looking at prices and saw this one for 17.99 and it was 8 foot and picked it up thinking it was a single subwoofer cable not just regular audio RCA jacks. When I got home opened the package and realized it was two audio rca jacks I didn't want to back to return it so I decided to hook it up to newly added 2nd subwoofer in the theater room. My first sub has a $40 12 foot rocketfish cable which looks exactly the same. Well when I turned it on it sounded the same to me and I'm kinda picky when it comes to theater bass. So these are good sound cables for the average theater sound. There is way more expensive cables out there but they won't do much better than a rocketfish cable.
