FYI I bought this for TV audio (samsung) to Denon AVR X2100W. Works great. It does not automatically switch like HDMI ARC. But I don't need it too. Must switch Samsung from speaker to audio / optical Then select Optical on denon clicker. So By the way. I saw some didn't install or click in place. CAREFUL No instructions, but, there's a rubber cover on the connector and if you don't take it off, it could end up inside your tv or audio making plug in impossible until you use something to fish it out.

Optic cable is great for playing tv sound through speakers.

This is my first buy of a Rocketfish - 8' Optical Audio Cable, and at first I was little bit skeptical. Then again, when I tried it out, it outperformed even the one that originally came with the product I it for. There could be many factors that are different, but what I observed is the cable has gold connectors at each end.

I needed this product to help set up my surround sound bar. It was a tremendous help to get the best quality sound.. very simple to use.

Worked just fine to connect the sound bar audio on my TCL television. HTML audio would not display the volume bar correctly (no number). This solved the problem.

Sound bar for LG TV had stopped working so I took a chance that it was the cable. It was!

Needed an Optical Audio cable for my Sonos sound bar. Opted for the Rocketfish 4' Toslink cable. It was at the right price point for a performance cable. After install, it performs well and I get excellent sound out of the speaker. Note, it comes in different lengths, so make sure you measure the length you need before purchasing. I recommend.

4 feet seems long but it isn't so make sure you got enough length. It fixed what was an overlooked issue. HDMI cables great for output but for input?

Excellent quality. The price is higher than it needs to be. Many popular brands inflate their prices for the brand. Consumers need to be awarre but most learn from experience.

I dont need many optical cables so its worth it to me to spend a little extra for quality and thats what these are.

It arrives quickly and hooked it right up... Plug and play, restored my music to my receiver and jamming to Christmas tunes. Early Christmas gift to myself. Very reasonably priced and the perfect length.

If your audio playback has the fiber optic/Toslink feature give Rocketfish a try . You should check out using Rocketfish Toslink cable prior to making a very costly cable mistake. This has to be one of the best deals in audio playback, period.

I bought this 12 ft cable because I wall mounted a tv and my original optical cable was not long enough to reach my sound bar. I was a little hesitant thinking the quality would be as good but I was wrong. Sound works perfect and haven’t had any issues. 5 stars so far even though in my opinion they cost a little more than I expected
