I have it attached to a single board computer to adapt a cable on a monitor. No issue in quality or resolution on the monitor. It is a little heavy so I would rest it on something and not just have the hdmi connector support it.

One way was to buy another longer cable for $200. Or I could buy a connector -- this connector. The video was not degraded at all.
