These are high quality banana plugs. Gold tip, solid construction. No tools needed. Note will not work on small wire. Standard speaker wire works great.

    Speaker Connecting Made Easy

I bought these with in mind of making it easier to connect my tower speakers. To my knowledge, no one likes fumbling with wires or which one is positive or negative and this gets the job done. The best part is that you don't even have to strip the wire to put it together. Unscrew the two parts with the bottom half on the wire, put on a compression fitting that matches your speaker wire and bring the top half to the bottom half and screw it back together for a nice solid connection.

I have always wanted some of these so I could quickly connect and disconnect my speakers when needed. Nothing worse than mashed/frayed wire ends. Easy to use once you rrealize there is almost like a needle inside that makes contact with your speaker wire. I did have a few give me trouble when tightening the compression ring down but that was minor. Very happy with them overall.

    Speaker cable termination

These appeared to be well designed terminations for my speaker cables for solid connection to my new receiver. The only drawback was that some of the terminations were not solid enough and the cables pulled loose from the termination. The package comes with 'grips' for different size speaker wire, but there needed to be yet a smaller size than the smallest provided.

    Good, but...

Generally, these connectors have been awesome, I have owned multiple sets of them before, and used them with a wire guage that was good. This last set didn't work for me because the guage of the pre-installed speaker wire make the diameter of the wire just too small for them to grab onto. Bottom line, before buying, be aware if your speaker wire is a smaller, you might opt for a different set. If you wire is typically (meaning not builder-grade), these connectors are AWESOME!

    Wasn't Sure at First...

I opened these up and assumed they would work very poorly considering how they terminated the audio connection. Couldn't have been more wrong. It's as easy as unscrewing the connector, sticking the wire onto a sharp pin, and screwing the connector back on with a compression sleeve that is provided in the package. I gave the wires a good tug and everything stayed in place beautifully! If you pull your amp out frequently to add/remove components you will love these banana plugs.

Very easy to put together, and with these there is a pin inside that you just shove into the wire jacket with out having to strip any wire and 2 different kinds of locking collars you put on depending what gauge cable you are running that keeps it held in. Has clear instructions to follow if you are not familiar how to use them and plugs are a very good quality. Banana plugs are a must have for your sound system if your receiver and speakers allow for them!

Have bought multiple sets of these to use over the years and love the ease of use and simplicity in using these especially when swapping in and out other AV equipment.. so much easier than dealing with speaker wire and receivers, speakers, etc. Quality of sound has always been as good or better than other connection methods. Great product that will save you time and installation headaches down the road.

    A Must for Any Speaker

Easy to use. Simple to instal on speaker wire. This is a must have item, for no other reason than to look better and make speaker installation that much easier. Nothing shows lazy speaker installations more than bare wire crammed into the back of any speaker. Get these, use these, be proud you have these.

These will make your life easier. Takes just a few minutes to prep them and then plug them into your receiver and speakers. Gives a good, clean connection. Can seem a little pricey when you're wiring for a 7.2 set-up because you'll need 2 packs of them, but in the long run they're worth it.

I've never used banana plugs before but I have to say it sure made the installation of my Yamaha AV Receiver much easier. Trying to installed stripped speaker wires in a tight place is no fun. After cutting the wires to length and installing the banana plugs installation was a breeze. The installation looks cleaner, sounds great and was sooo easy. I'll never run speaker wires without them again

My favorite type of connection for speakers

Pro's - gold plated, easy to install, nice weight in the hand. Con's - I use 16/2 in-wall speaker cable from one of the box stores for most of my speaker wires. These connectors have a pin in the middle that is designed to push into the end of the speaker wire, then you twist the outer connector on, crimping the wire in place. For the wire I use, the pin is too large and splits the insulation of the wire. A quick work-around is to wrap the end of the wire with electrical tape after the pin has split the insulation, then it works fine. I've used these same banana plugs on 16 gauge Monster Cable speaker wire, and they work perfectly, just as designed. For wire with less strands (the monster cable and clones use really fine stranded copper, the wire I use has fewer strands that are thicker,) they are a bit more finickey to set up.

As the title says they're fairly easy to install and so far have had no issues with them. Much better than speaker wire just hanging loose in the post in my opinion. Nothing super fancy about them, but they work and thats all that really matters.

Went in looking for banana plugs in Magnolia section, saw the prices and was directed to the more affordable Rocketfish version. These were easier to connect that the side-screw type and have held up well with several relocations of the plugs so far. Good sound, no complaints and I doubt I would be any happier with the higher priced components!

These banana plugs work great with the rocket fish speaker wire that Best Buy also sells. I did have trouble getting them to work with some older speaker wire I had. I'm guessing the old stuff was the incorrect gauge. The plugs make wiring up a receiver a breeze.

I have always struggled with the speaker wires coming loose when my receiver gets bumped. These helped clean everything up. I did find that they will not work on very small gage wire. I did find that if you have two sets of wires that you can put one wired in the standard connection of the amp and then use the clips to setup the second wire.

We needed a good quality banana plug for connection to a 1974 pair of MAGI's speakers. Purchased these on a recommendation from a friend. These plugs are easy to install on your wires, and the size of the plug ends are perfect for OLD speaker terminal female connections. Great fit, and excellent quality.

I used this product to install polk T-Series speakers to an ONKYO TX-NR686 Reciever.....once you grasp the simple concept of the plugs it made install a breeze as you dont have to strip the wire and try to thread into the reciever terminals.....also gives the back of the reciever a clean professional look.

Watching YouTube helped us to understand how to attach these to the bare wires. Once we got the hang of putting these on then attaching them to the back of the speakers was easy. They look great and neat. If we need to change anything around, the banana plugs are easy to detach from the speakers.

Probably easiest to use with 16 awg speaker wire; 14 awg wire requires a bit harder twisting. The banana plugs are nearly essential for the crowded backsides of receivers, as well as convenient for speakers, making it easy to disconnect and re-connect. These banana clips are well made and elegant.
