Good quality banana plugs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to use and solid connection for 7.1 home theater system. Much easier than threading wires, especially for repetitive connections/disconnections.

Wire Connectors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wire connectors were fairly easy to install with instructions included. However, there were two options for wire lockers but the instructions did not differentiate, and left it to customer to figure it out.

Beware of bananas
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Turns out on most receivers you have to stick a hook into the speaker wire inputs and pull out a piece of plastic to use banana plugs. I didn't want to do that

Don't waste your money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, let me start by saying I have always been pleased with the performance of Best Buys Rocket Fish products. However, this is good for one thing... Filling you into thinking its a nice product. Here is the problem. The only thing crimpnt the wire into the plug is a plastic crimp collar around the wire. The actual copper is bass icky stuffed into a hole with no mechanical crimping. The result? As you go to push in your plugs, the word pops out the back and you stay the tedious process all over. I opted for this because I hate having to use a set screw and used to have some monster plugs that looked similar but functioned. I ended up throwing these away (because I couldn't stand the thought of someone going through what I did) and using the Dynex bannana plugs with the set screw. I'm now confident I have a full contacted connection. I'm running a Marantz Sr7009 with 7.4.3 atmos defenative Technilogy speaker set up.

Solid choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little more complicated than a traditional setup as they also feature a plastic ferrule ; some assembly and technical ability required

Would not hold on narrow diameter cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is fine, but the package states it will work on 16 - 18 gauge wire. I had some 16 gauge wire with insulation that wasn't as thick as needed to make the compression ring hold the wire tight. I had one banana clip left that connected the wire to the banana clip with a screw and used that. For the other connections I had to use wire with thicker insulation and it worked fine.

WORST EVER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used banana plugs for years, and never found any worse than these. The method of connecting the wire to the plug is of an extremely poor design. They have a very small contoured Teflon sleeve you slip over the wire and then bend back the copper strands over in and screw the two pieces together. The sleeve is so small (picture a small pea cut in half) that it is hard to work with. If you can get just the right amount of wire wrapped around the sleeve which fits between the base and the male plug. Even if you are able to screw the 2 pieces together, which is tricky, the wire is not held firmly in place. I spent an hour on 4 or 5 speaker wires and gave up and just wired my speakers into my receiver. I ordered a different brand somewhat of the same design but you do not have that small sleeve and just wrap the speaker wire back over the base and screw the mail plug into the base. I had 7 speakers (28 plugs) wired in just over 30 mins.

No Complaints
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I questioned these type of clips for years, and for years, when ever I upgraded or changed components in my theater I would have to work in limited space to turn the wire nuts on the back of my receiver to connect or disconnect my very short speaker wires that come out of the wall of my home theater. To my surprise not only does this make the job easier, but I can not hear a difference in these and just clamping them with the wire nuts on the receiver. These were a excellent purchase for my home theater application.

Makes for simpler installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used these plugs for a 5.1 channel sound system and it made connecting the speakers to the receiver. If you have a 5.1, make sure to get 2 packs as you will need 5 for the speakers and 5 for the receiver.
