Wanted some easy plugs since I was planning on moving my speakers around a lot to find the right placement. These plugs did not provide a tight fit with my speaker wires.

The banna jacks have a little plastic gromet that is supposed to cause compression of the bare wire to the inside of the metal fitting, when you screw the 2 parts together the compressions system is a bit hit and miss. This means that unless you grab on to the wire and bend it over you may not get a tight connection and the wire can be pulled out easility. If you do bend it over, screwing the two parts together can be tough. I guess grommet is supposed to grab the plastic of the wire to hold it in place, but again that is hit or miss also... i did use them all... but with issues to complete job..

I was hoping these connectors would easily fit with minimal effort. Tried for hours to "quick connect" as advertised. I even watched several videos how to install, never got them to connect. I attempted to connect speaker wires. The compression connectors were for two different sizes, so I don't think the fittings were very "universal" which might have been the problem. I was never able to test reliability as such so, I can't comment on that aspect. Maybe these aren't for beginners as indicated. Returned and purchased normal banana plugs which were even cheaper and in bigger quantities.

Bought them to re-wire old speakers into a new receiver. Didn't work for me (I ended up not needing them) but that's not to say they won't perform for someone else.

These plugs don’t fit well into the wire. Also, the piece that’s supposed to hold it on wire is very difficult to fit into place. Waste of money!

Sorry Rocketfish/Best Buy, but these connectors however pretty they may appear are totally worthless on 14-2 stranded wire. I will not recommend them to anyone

I returned them after realizing that they would not work with the speaker wire I have.

I finally connected the monster cable into the amp the easy way after 15 years. They work well, are easy to attach, and fit great. Be careful with the amount of wire you strip - about 3/8" works great. Less and contact is iffy. More and they don't screw down tight. All in all a good Idea.

This is the first time I used banana plugs. It took a minute to figure out how to crimp the ends but as far as use, they are so much better.

I kinda had a hard time getting the wire to stay on these things but sooner or later it stayed and now I just don't mess with the back in fear the wire will slip off.
