This set includes 5 pairs of independent banana plugs. Each item consists of the plug / partial collar and the remainder of the collar which screws on and compresses (not technically a crimp) the wire between the two pieces of collar to lock it in place. It's pretty simple to figure out, but I felt a little awkward at first, like I wanted 3 hands. After getting the hang of it (maybe 2 plugs) it went quickly and the connection is very solid.

I was skeptical to buy these plugs based on reviews from other customers. Their concerns focused on the plug's inability to remain tight on the speaker wire. I applied these plugs to the Rocketfish cable, which comes with heavy sheathing. I found that if I applied the crimping caps correctly, the wire was very tight into the plug. So far, I have had no issues with this product based on my materials and application.

I'm used to plugs that are crimp or solder, since you want sold connection that will not degrade over time. These looked like a press fit. from the picture on the site and box, but there is a pin in the center that goes into the center of the wire to produce a solid contact. The body will compress to keep the connection solid. So far, I am pleased and even has a pivot to allow some rotation. Will be interested to see how it works over time.

Easy to use and figure out but the instructions that came with the product are terrible.

These have made my speaker connection very easy and simple to use. No my surround sound sounds Great.

These work just fine in my hifi system, which I also use for a home theater system. However, the spear contact seems iffy for this application, and I worry about potential problems in the future. Would have preferred a positive clamping approach to attaching the conductor to the plug.

The banana plugs are easy to use and provide great sound.

These connectors are not quite as easy to insert and secure wire as some previous Monster connectors I have used. It took a few times to get the inserted speaker wire to be secured. As I used more of them, however, I got the hang of their different method of clamping down on the wire. A good value for the price.

The plugs are outstanding and very easy to install and not bulky at all. Sound quality is superior!

Had a new 4k capable receiver speakers, and appropriate gauge cable but didn't have any banana plugs so I stopped by my local best buy for an impulse buy. These fit the bill, are moderately easy to use and don't seem to interfere with the sound in any way (I'd prefer a straight connection but it was not possible with this receiver.)

Will use these from now on. Makes it easy to move speakers around. Worth the money.

Much easier without frayed speaker wire, better connection than standard screw down posts

I like this. You don't need a screwdriver like all the other cheaper connectors out there. These are twist on/off. These are the best connectors BestBuy sells, outside of the Magnolia section, and those connectors are pretty much the same thing but a different brand and 2x-3x the price

These connectors worked great for hooking up my speaker system. It was a little bit different then what I was used to as far as connecting the cable. I used 14ga and didn't have any issues like some of the other reviews mentioned. The wire gets inserted into a pin and then you have to use the correct collar over the cable before tightening them down. Great sound quality so far.

Have used monster brand and others in the past and if anything these make it that much easier. By using a pin inserted into the wire instead of having to spread the wire out around the the inside of plug and loosing some wire, this is far superior. Finally a brand that does charge an arm and leg for something that is so useful.

Not bad for the price, though cheaper options are available on Amazon. Have had to move some speakers around and unplug from receiver. 2 of the plugs came off when unplugging from the receiver. Good news is, they were very easy to reinstall and get the media room back up and running.

Works perfect really cleans up the look and makes any changes a lot easier and the connections lock in great
