They were useless they would not hold 14 gauge wire

Th process to get these conncted with the speaker wire was extremely cumbersome. I ended up back at Best Buy for help in getting these connected. Turns out they may not even be needed as you can expose the wire and connect without these plugs.

Use caution !!!!!! There are not screws in these, they're a push in and if the wire your using isn't of larger than18 gauge these won't work. The collars don't hold. Had to return them, and found a set with screws to bite down on the wire.

I really didn't need them with the speakers I purchased, most speakers have lugs that accept wires. Thought the plugs would be easier. It was more of a hassle then it's worth. I think I stripped two tightening by hand.

These are terrible connectors. There's a pin that you push into the wire and then screw the other piece down. Really flimsy. Spend more and get the Monster Cable connectors. They're much more solid.

These banana plugs are not made for thick gauge speaker wire. I was disappointed because I had to twist my speaker wires in order to get sound out.. Old School..

I reviewed the 4 pack. I returned the 10 pack because I could not get one of the banana plugs from the 4 pack to stay on the wire. Do not buy.

These are very difficult to securely attach to smaller guage wire which was easily pulled out when the speaker is moved.

Most things from rocket fish are nice, but these plugs are terrible. Buy some open box monster banana plugs and roll on!

Constantly coming undone. Several pieces were bent when I opened the package and would not even fit into the receiver.

Did not do what it's supposed to do. When I did get the product to stay connected it's only worked a few moments.

Hard to rate these connectors when I haven't had my "lemon" receiver for 6 weeks!

The speaker wire slips out by easily even with the hardware given. Don't buy!!!!

Poor quality made, poor quality sound, do not hold the wires fall off.

Well i brought an receiver and i thought i needed it.

Easiest way to make tight and secure connections, quick and efficient.

These banana plugs are priced fairly and work great. My only caveat is that they don't work well if you are using cables that are too small. If you stick with quality speaker wire you'll be fine.

wow no tool is needed , i was confuse how to install then find a video on how to install for got the website on it, but it so easy just insert the plastic piece on top of the wire til snug the incert the gold middle there a pin to incert to the middle of wire press on the turn and done, sorry my english bad im not good at communicating .

The plugs work but wow. I am not exaggerating when I say it took me 10 minutes to get ONE plug on. There is a tapered pin on the underside of the plug that basically forces it's way into the wire. The problem is that the wire doesn't want to be penetrated that way so it bends and it folds and the pin comes out the side and just when you think you have a good connection you had better hold on while you are twisting the end because the wire is mad at you and it wants that pin out. If...IF you succeed in screwing the plug together cross your fingers cause I failed the tug test 9 out of 10 times. No I am not an idiot. My buddy was helping me do my install and we both said that these were the most difficult to install we have ever seen. Yes I was using good wire, 14 guage which was noticeably stiffer than most I have worked with which should have made it easier but no. No, I would NOT recommend this to a friend...except maybe as a gag gift if I got to watch them try to use them. An enemy? I don't really have any but yes, yes I would recommend them to an enemy. The materials and machining on these is fine. It is just a deeply, deeply flawed design. I did not return them because the store was closed and I wanted to hear my new system. When the Gods smile on you and you make a successful, tug-proof connection they work...it's just a long way to get there. I am *not* advocating paying through the nose for a big name brand but do yourself a favor and find something a bit easier to install.
