it's a solid pice of equipment. It is a little light, but it will stay in place if you move nothing else around. I would prefer it have an AUX out option instead of the 3.5 mm jack (why it's 4 and not 5 stars). My phone always automatically connects to it no problem.

I wanted to add Bluetooth to my vintage stereo system. Connected this to the AUX input and turned it on. My Bluetooth MP3 player saw it right away and connected to it immediately. The unit also supports APT-X for better audio quality.

For a while I have wanted to play music from my computer and tablet thru my 28 year old NAD stereo receiver. I did not want to hardwire the system so Bluetooth was the way to go. Have been using the Rocketfish for a month or so and it's a great setup.

Have used this great Bluetooth device for at least 3 weeks now with no bad issues. Works as well as the reviews I've read. Saved me some big bucks by not having to upgrade my home stereo receiver. Sounds great using my cell phone Pandora program. Love it.

Bought this for my nan cave stereo that doesn’t have Bluetooth. The range is Awesome! It’s so Awesome that I have to leave the power switch off or else it will override my car stereo Bluetooth. Love this device!!!❤️❤️❤️

My HK AVR7000 although older like me, is still one I hold onto. Wanted to free up being tied down to an rca cable to rca in on the receiver. Found this at BB and grabbed two. Works very well and allows me to connect my iphone with iTunes via BT.

I have an old Sony receiver that came out before bluetooth was available. Adding the Rocketfish enables me to play my favorite music from my cell phone. Works great.

Plugged into a/v in on receiver. Simple on/off switch. Paired first try to a mobile device and works great.

This was the perfect way for me to add Bluetooth to my home receiver. I love it! Now I can stream music from my phone to they receiver and blast it as loud as I want and make my kids run for their rooms! Not that that helps them any!

The set up was incredibly easy, and it paired with my phone right away. As others have stated, it was very nice to listen to my old music on my older stereo system. Worked like a charm! I highly recommend this product!

Works great! Have an older Sony ES receiver that is still really great sounding and now I can use my Bluetooth device for playing music. Sound is very good with the optical output. Pairing was a breeze.

I was planning on buying a Bluetooth stereo reciever, saw this jewel and decided to give it a shot. This is the best thing ever of you have surround set up and want to play pandora, google music or anything else! Love this thing!

We have an older receiver without Bluetooth. This was a great upgrade. It connects to our phones and streams from almost everywhere in our 1800 square foot house. Paired to an iPhone and Samsung.

This item does exactly what I wanted it to do. Bluetooth from my iPhone to my receiver to play my tunes through my home sound system. Also it’s easy to move from system to system and take on travel or use in camper’s sound system.

Got this for my older Dennon receiver so I wouldn't have to buy a new one. Simple to plug in and play..Paired up with either my iPad pro or android phone. Glad to use surround system again.

I was able to use my old stereo again. This thing is small so its easy to hide. You can turn any audio device into a Bluetooth receiver. Some times the power stops or the signal goes out. But not often.

This was the only Bluetooth receiver BB carried in store so I bought it for a party (meaning no time to buy online). It's not that great of a value for the price (I used points). The digital (toslink) output is a plus and the sound quality is good playing through my AV receiver, but the Bluetooth range is mediocre at best. If I walk about 20 feet away from the receiver (unobstructed distance) the signal from my iPhone begins to cut out -- hence the 3 stars. If the limited range isn't an issue it does what it should, but at an unwarranted premium price for what appears to be the in-house generic BB brand.

This was what I was needed to connect my current home theater sound system to my phone via blutooth. Instead of needing to buy new equipment, this made it easy to connect to my current, old, stuff to my cell phone via blutooth!!!

Use those old radios and save money. I had a Sony bookshelf set from high school. Speakers in great condition but CD player no longer worked. This device gave me Bluetooth options and essentially upcycled a junk radio. Love it

I own 2 of these and both have worked perfectly. Unit comes with red/ white audio input cables that plug into most receivers. Easy setup, easy and strong connectivity over BT. No password protection that I am aware of.
