I had an old receiver that I took to work with me. Obviously, being that it is older, it isn't Bluetooth capable. I found this solution and decided to give it a try. I've had it for a while now and it has worked very well since day one. I love that it has a digital out as well. Haven't tried that but someday I will on my other receiver that isn't Bluetooth capable as well but has a digital in option. All in all, great buy!

The Rocketfish™ - Bluetooth Music Receiver has provided a means to connect my new Echo Dot to my existing 20 year old stereo receiver. I now stream Amazon music with individual song requests or simply select piano or a specific artist and the music will continue for hours uninterrupted. The Bluetooth signal has failed twice in the two months that I have been using it, but to reboot I simply turned the slide switch on the Rocketfish receiver to off and immediately back on to restore the lost signal.

Item works as stated, will connect automatically once paired, nice pick up!

I recently installed outdoor speakers to an older receiver and wanted to have bluetooth capability so I could play music from my phone or other devices. Easy to set up and works great. Only wish there was better range but that is expected with all Bluetooth items.

This unit has been a great addition to my Bose sound bar which is not Bluetooth connectable. Much cheaper than the Bose Bluetooth option.
