Device was easy to setup. Used for 2 applications. One was for large component rack which also feeds outdoor speakers. Bluetooth does tend to lose connection so have to keep phone in one spot and not move around. Using phone to control music while outdoors by pool. The other application was for a BOSE Wave radio. Both work great but with 2 in one house have to unpair or power off the one you dont want to currently use because the connection holds on to the last one.

I was looking for a bluetooth receiver for my iPad and iPhone since my AV receiver is 15 years old and does not have such function. I had a Bose product in mind, but followed Best Buy rep's recommendation. It works fine as expected after an easy setup. Up until I bought the Rockfish unit, I connected the iPad with the receiver by a long mini plug cable. I could get rid of it and now have no compliant!

.........about how well this works. It pairs up with my iPad and iPhone pretty easy but having a hard time getting my HP laptop paired with it. I live in a townhouse and with the laptop on the kitchen counter, it won't pair with the Rocketfish Bluetooth receiver which is approximately 25 feet away. I need to move the laptop close to it and see if that works. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but if all it is is that they're too far apart (@25') then I'm will be disappointed.. Stay tuned........

Purchased this reduce cord clutter and it's working great. Currently, it's connected to a home theater receiver across the room and I stream music from my Mac while I work. Connecting was very simple (like any bluetooth) and it hasn't been disconnected from error or otherwise. I've not been a fan of bluetooth sound quality, but honestly it's difficult to hear a difference between this and direct 3.5mm aux.

I love it. Now I'm enjoying my old system again :)

Plugs right in works great saved me a ton of cash not having to buy a new receiver

This was easy to setup. Sound quality is good. Automatically connects when phone is in range which is helpful.

I bought this to connect to my stereo system on screened in patio because the tuner reception was terrible and it was not possible to add an antenna because it was a built-in by previous owner. Anyways, I hooked up the Rocketfish to my Phono jack and was streaming radio, pandora, etc to my outdoor speakers in less than 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this product.

Love it! I can use my MacBook Pro and my windows laptop to steam thru my stereo. Sound is very clear and easy to connect.

This is a great bluetooth receiver. It's very easy to setup and use. It also has a good range.

Allows the addition of BlueToolth to a receiver that doesn't already have it. A lot cheaper than a new receiver.

Excellent range. Music has more punch compared to my previous BT adapter which was an FM transmitter.
