If your current vehicle has an aux port but no Bluetooth capability, this is the perfect unit for you. The sound quality is the best I've heard from a Bluetooth receiver and I have been through quite a few. It seems that this time, I've found the right one. My only gripe is that it has to remain plugged in because it has no internal battery. Still not enough for me to give it anything less than 5 stars.

Use it at home on my older home theater surround sound. Also works great at parties and gigs hooked into the PA.

We found that the unit was easy to linked to our recievr and readily enabled all family members to individually air ther playlist of songs and tunes. My mother in law was most excited about the bluetooth music reciever because it allowed all of us to play a role in DJ-ing and contributing to the sounds from her home sterio unit. So often it controlled by one person. Great product.

I was skeptical at first because Im so picky with my music and the distance I needed it to cover and it works better than I expected. Great buy at $30 went back a week later and it was $40 so I didn't get another. The sound is awesome and very little interference considering it's set up over the distance that is advertised. I have it in my music room in the house and play my music pool in my pool area.

The Rocketfish Bluetooth adapter has been a solid edition to the stereo in our office. Anyone is able to connect and stream music. I have only had to reconnect to it a couple times, although I am unsure why the disconnection happened in the first place. This unit has been much better than a previous adapter that was purchased on Amazon. We were continuously having to reconnect to it, after the bluetooth signal would be dropped.

I have four of these connected to older stereo receivers that do not have Bluetooth capability. They work great for transmitting sound from your device to the Rocketfish Bluetooth receiver. The only issues I have with this device are as follows: Range. The stated range is 30 ft but that is unobstructed line of sight. I have even been able to stay connected between 30-40 feet with no obstacles in the way. But, close a door or step around a corner and the range drops significantly, say more like 15-20 foot range. Next, phone connectivity; if you are connected to this from a cell phone or any other device that accepts calls, texts or emails, whenever said calls etc. come through, the sound drops out and you here the tone noise for whatever notifications you just received. It takes a couple of seconds for the original sound(s) you were listening to to return. On some devices turning the ringer off will solve that problem, but not all devices. Lastly, identification. As I said earlier, I have four of these things. They all show up on my device with the same designation: Music Receiver. It would be great if you could somehow rename them to designate which is which. As it is right now I leave them all powered off until I’m ready to use it then turn on the one I want to use and my device connects to it. Not so bad but inconvenient nonetheless.

We bought this for the purpose of being able to control our music selection wirelessly through our non-wireless receiver. It worked perfectly. Using the audio cable that came with it, however is not the best sound quality. Our receiver is connected to five speakers and using the cable that came with this was not the best sound. I highly recommend buying an optical cable for better sound quality.

As nice as the thought of buying a new audio receiver and speakers was, I recognized that there was nothing wrong with my existing system, other than its lack of bluetooth connectivity. This little gadget solved that problem! Pairing is stupid easy, and the option for optical audio connection is a nice bonus. Worth every penny!
