I recommend getting these just in case you need them. No complaints about the quality. Buy it, if you dont like it you can return it easy.

Not all cables support both. For example, a USB cable you've used to charge a device might not work if you use it to transfer data or program a microcontroller. This cable does both functions. I have used it to program and power an Arduino and an Adafruit Feather that have micro USB connectors. Cut your old micro USB cables in half and use this one instead.
