Skip the flat mount, buy a full motion mount!

The full motion mount is more expensive, however should you move and your tv viewing configration changes you will not not have to go out and repurchase a new mount. Its versatile, flat mounted and moveable. When mounting In order to be centered when its the flat mount position , it needs to be mounted off center.

2nd Purchase

If you are looking to hang a TV in the corner of the room and would like the flexibility to move furniture around without having to completely reconfigure your tv mounting this is a great item. If we choose to put a tv in a third bedroom in our home, we will probably buy our 3rd full motion wall mount.
