I purchased this unit because I could slide the TV left/right to center it on the wall even though the bracket mounted to the studs on the wall was slightly off center When I had the unit mounted on the wall, I found that the left/right sliding feature had not been implemented very well - it was metal to metal instead of bearing to metal so it was hard moving it left/right in small increments. The process for leveling the unit was very poor as well. You had to set it using an allen wrench so the unit had to be out from the wall. Then, when you tried to pull it out/push it in to the wall, the allen wrench setting wouldn't hold. Because of this, it wasn't worth the price but I didn't have much choice with other products given the need to center it on the wall even though the wall studs weren't centered...

Loved the mount, got it at a great price and the installation was going great up until I found out that the mount doesnt support 24" studs. So if your home as 24" studs do not get this wall mount. It only supports up to a 18" studs. Other than that the mount was very durable, sturdy and had some well crafted parts. Just wish i would have been able to use it. Thank You, and SEMPER FI!

I had the Geek Squad install this wall mount - and it looked relatively easy... Now, with a move to another dwelling, I do not find instructions anywhere... is there a webpage on the internet so I can go by the instructions to do the installation myself. Thanks!!!

I can't really comment on anything as far as easy installation because I had the mount professionally installed. I can say it's sturdy because i accidently ran over it and not a scratch was on it!

After owning a Simplicity brand, the RocketFish really comes in 2nd. The joints give too much with a TV mounted..I purchased the full tilt and extend version, and it's no where near the quality of the Simplicity, and actually costs more. Keep shopping if you're mounting larger than a 46".

I have nothing negative to say about the product itself im sure its a great mount. My problem I ran into was the fact no where did it mention that this mount can only support a 16 inch Stud. So when they came to install the guy said sorry this wont fit and I asked why since I have no idea what im doing and he explained and he was also SHOCKED it did not say on the box what studs this can apply to. Anyway I got stuck buying another mount from them for 28 bucks more which isn't bad at all but I believe as a customer you shouldn't get charged the difference because this is clearly something that was out of my control and they should have just giving me an even exchange and done right by me. I love Best Buy and I will continue to use them but I really felt a little cheated by them. Even the driver says this is so common that it happens to half or more of the customers houses they go to. They seriously need to add this information to the box or start making 24inch wall mounts and discontinue these 16inch ones. It should speak volumes if half your customers are running into this predicament, makes me think If they plan on this to make extra money. But I still don't get how are you suppose to know which stud mount can fit into your home if you don't know how far apart your studs at home are. Because honestly fighting the studs on your wall is in my opinion the hardest part of wall mounting. After that its drill 4 holes and screw.

Its a bit scary putting your 2K$ TV up in the air like this, but I have come to trust it. I'm more concerned with the attachment to the wall than the mount. It seems really solid.

Overall this is a very good mount. I have a 52" LCD mounted on this on my patio outdoor. The mount articulates very well but does not hold as tight as I would like it to in the closed position.

A bit bulky but does the job. Sturdy mount with great telescoping. Did the install myself, just plan some time and do it slowly so you dont make any mistakes. A quality stud finder is a must!

I'm satisfied with thjis product. It looks great and works as advertised. I can watch from just abut anywhere in the room - with very easy adjustment for viewing. I like this product and would purchase it again.

Love this product, bought so I could mount my tv in the corner of living room since I didn't have a tv stand. Only wish it would come out at s greater angle, other wise fabulous product.

Purchased this for my 70 yr old father for Christmas. The instructions were very well understanding. He installed it himself within 90 minutes. He is very pleased with it.

I had to use this in a corner so that I could swivel my TV in different directions for viewing. I love it and wouldn't be without it

Have a 8 series curved Samsung 65". Tried two other brackets and was a no go. If you have curved tv this will be the best item.

i had to install my tv in an apt complex which had metal studs, so far it has held up with a little extra added support on the wall mount :)

We love the Rocketfish brand because the items are always of high quality. This full motion wall mount lives up to all of our expectations.

I'm not the handiest guy in the world, but I'm sure I installed this properly (with my father in laws help). The problem is when I move the TV, the arms don't stay put and the TV shifts to the right. I tried tightening everything, but can't get it to stay put. Pretty annoying so I don't touch it if possible. This isn't good because it's full motion, but what's the use if it won't "stick" where I move it? I might try to exchange it, but it was so hard to install that I don't want to go through that again. Plus, it's been over 30 days so I don't know if Best Buy will let me exchange it anyhow.

product seems very stout while its sitting in front of you but once there was weight on it it became very sloppy. I completely dismantled the joints and discovered a poorly machined sleeve for the upper joints. so while the tv it mounted on the wall and there may only be an 1/8 inch of play it correlates to a lot of play in the right to left tilt of the tv. i may be getting an led tv here shortly and it may reduce the issue because of the weight difference. but its already on my wall and its to much hassle to return it.

It is a good purchase for the price. It is close to wall and moves easily.

Overall it's a good product. It doesn't have a stabilizing mechanism to hold the tv steady which is annoying and causes it to be crooked sometimes.
