We mounted to the wall, my favorite part is that it moves in swivels pretty easily. The only reason I didn't give this a five star review is because the TV bounces a little bit. But it does seem really secured to the wall.

Even though the mount says it will hold 100 lbs., I get a bit of horizontal tilt when placing at different angles even though the mount was installed level and the set screws are in place.
