    Product does what you need but I don't recommend for cables longer than 6 or 10 foot. When you run Hdmi cables long distances you need to use a repeater rather than a coupler. I learned this the hard way when trying to save a couple bucks with this product. If your using this to plug to HDMI cables less than like 6 foot this will work fine.

    Not much more you can ask for in an HDMI coupler other than it works and is solid. My challenge was that my Lenovo uses a mini-HDMI connector and I walk into conference rooms that usually have a full-sized HDMI. The multi-adapters end up creating an odd turn in the HDMI cable that often caused screen flashes on the projector as things were loose. So... mini to full-sized HDMI cable, full-sized HDMI coupler, and George's your uncle!

    This is the one item that you don’t know you need until you do. While it’s not a glamorous product it does the job and it was important to have to connect my HDMI to my MacBook. It is basically a plug in and forget item because it just works as soon as you connect it no instructions needed.

    I had two hdmi cables neither of which was long to connect my lap top to my tv. This product allowed me connect the two cables together so that I could sit a comfortable distance from the tv and watch videos from my laptop on a large screen tv. Now my viewing experience has been greatly enhanced thanks to this Rocketfish HDMI coupler.

    VERY handy. I was able to use this as a powered pass-through for an HDMI line coming out of the HTC Vive headset (so I can leave the short cables on permanently and reduce wear and tear from pulling the cables directly from the headset). If it works for that, I imagine it'll be golden for normal home use.

    As my wife and I were installing a wall-mounted television, we needed to move several of the cables. While we did not end up needing this product (the HDMI cables we had were long enough to reach where we needed them to) and ended up returning it, it was very handy to know we could have used it. Should we be in a place where we need a coupler in the future, we will definitely go back for this product.
