    Needed something to help attach 2 HDMI cables together and this worked well. Very small but appears to be made of all metal that will hopefully equate to long life.

    I needed only a few feet of extension and instead of buying a longer cable I bought this unit and connected it to a short extra hdmi cable I had and it solved my placement issue with my dvd player. I actually bought a second one to solve a placement issue with my tv to dvr connection. No change to picture quality, it's as good as it was before I used the connecters.
