    I have a TV on my wall and my HDMI cable is located in the middle of my TV and can't be reached. It is not long enough to reach my sound system. So I bought another HDMI cable and plugged that cable into one end of the HDMI coupler and the HDMI cable coming out of the TV. It works great!

    This is a high quality coupler for HDMI cables, allowing you to connect two cables, instead of getting one expensive long one. It's good enough for two expensive cables, as well as less expensive cables. For $25, you have a good coupling, usable for many years, so the high price is expected for the quality.
