    I purchased this so that I could set up hdmi from my laptop (required MICRO HDMI) to my tv, so that my skype screen would display on the tv. I was not happy that the rocketfish adapter blocked out one of my laptop usb ports when it was plugged in.

    I got this so I could plug a 23 inch monitor into a beagle bone board. It works great. The only issue I have had is the case is a little odd and if there is any recess to what you plug it into there could be a conflict.

    This cord is easy to connect to the tv and delivers a high quality picture. However to plug the connector to the kindle you have to remove the kindle from the case and the connector is awkward in the way it connects.

    I needed this for a mini projector i had, it was either buying a whole new chord or buying this adapter. This was a lot more convenient, saved me from buying a new wire and works well

    I'm glad they put the bumper on the micro HDMI side so there's more support for the adapter. My initial fear was this would break off in the computer, but having the bumper protects it.

    I bought this to view movies and pics directly from the Go Pro on the TV and then realized my phone had a micro hdmi so viewing pics etc. from the phone was an added bonus.

    Small simple and easy to use. You may need to watch which port you plug it into so the the side piece doesn't interfere with a port next to the one you are using.
