    I bought this because I got a new laptop that had the mini HDMI plug. I attach this to the regular HDMI cable to the laptop and TV so I can watch Netflix. Its very sturdy and has worked well. Have had it for about a year and no problems.

    Looked all over for something like this to hook my laptop to a TV for a presentation. Just plugged in and it worked perfectly. Only problem it was hard to find. Luckily had a sales person that figured out where it was, in the TV section not near the computers.

    Great value for price! Bought this for Missionary living in Africa. They needed something small and lite to give them different options to hook up and display teaching materials in primitive churches. They also needed something that would stand up to dusty environment but not cost a fortune.

    This a perfect adapter to carry in my laptop bag. My laptop has a Micro HDMI out but I also have a few old graphics cards at home that have Mini-HDMI. This versatile adapter has been very reliable and I love the small form factor.

    We purchased this converter to connect a computer to a TV to use as a second monitor. However, because of the design, it had trouble fitting -- we actually had to get an additional cable because the converter would not fit due to the position of the HDMI port. It works as a converter, but I would rather have the plug-in end as part of a cable.
