However, we have an older LG LED flat panel, and the HDMI ports are in a particularly unfortunate location. This makes every millimeter crucial. After installing spacers and longer screws on my TV mount, this adapter worked... mostly. It is still a slight strain on the HDMI port, as the mount pushes it up a bit. Probably more a design flaw on the TV, not the adapter. I may be purchasing another one when I hang my brand new 75" LG, so my experience could be vastly different after this. Again, great product, just can't get around my current issue.
