This items works well for it's indeneded purpose; however, you pretty much have to set your phone down and not move it. Otherwise, any video playback can and will cut out. It seems like this is due to the connecter not securely seating.

I purchased this but it is not compatible with the s3.

I purchased this product to connect my Samsung Galaxy S3 to my TV. When I plugged everything in, it worked perfectly with no effort my phone screen just appeared on the TV awesome!

This worked with my galaxy 5, But only with the adapter. And the adapter broke after a few uses. And It only charged one of the times I used it! The rest of the time my phone read charging but didn't actually charge. now it has to be propped up just right to work.

Doesn't charge phone Cable gets loose most of time

Do not buy if you are trying to connect galaxy tab 4 to tv!!! It will not work. Tab 4 does not have the drivers for video out. It did work and function as a charger, is probably a good product just not for the galaxy tab 4.

Please read the box before u purchase this adapter. Ur phone MUST BE MHL CAPABLE in order to use it. If u don't kno if ur phone has MHL capabilities do a google search or go to mhlconsortium.com and search for ur phone.

I purchased this to connect my phone to my new TV so that I could run the THX calibration app to fine tune my TVs colors and sound. I have a galaxy, so I needed to use the samsung adapter included in the package. All of the connections were slightly loose - from the main adapter to the samsung piece and from the main adapter to the HDMI cord. This led to losing the connection between my phone and my TV unless i held everything in place. Despite the uncomfortable position i needed to put my hand in to get this to work flawlessly, once it was up and running, it worked as it should. Not the best adapter on the market, but for the price and how much I will be using it, this was the clear choice for me.

Does the job. Connectors fit loosely, so it makes you wonder if you have a good connection. Ran Netflix from my Galaxy S5 directly to my 65" Samsung and experienced lag. It works, but don't have high expectations.

So far, it works great. My husband and I have android phones, while our kids have iPhones. So this cable works great, when we each need to charge our phones.

This product was not what I was looking for, it didn't work for what I need it may be I should research more but the Best Buy team recommend me this

Once I got it connected properly (I have to use a certain charger. It wouldn't work with the first one I tried), it works great.

The picture produced is clean HD quality when it's transferred from an HD pic/video. I love how this allows me to share images/videos etc. with my whole family.

I purchased this item to stream content from my phone to my TV and it works great. I am glad I found it at Best Buy and I would highly recommend it.

I needed an easy way to connect my Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Ed) to the large classroom TV so I could annotate documents while teaching class. Simple connect to HDMI cord to the Rocketfish adapter then to my tablet. Has extra adapter for Samsung. Worked perfectly first time out. Now I can use my S-pen to add emphasis to class notes, powerpoints and pdf's (& I can play games on the big screen between classes)

This product is a great idea, BUT even when plugged into my phone through the charger (because that's the only way) it drained my battery life from 50% to 10% in just an hour.

Works flawless with both HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5. For the Galaxy S5 you need to use the 11pin adapter which is included with this MHL HDTV Adapter.
