This antenna replaced an old Antennas Direct model. Unfortunately the RocketFish antenna doesn't work as well as the Antennas Direct model. The Good: 1. Everything is included in the box, including a coax cable. 2. Set-Up is pretty easy 3. Includes an signal amplifier The Not So Good: 1. There are a lot of obstructions in my yard (Trees, power lines, etc). The old Antennas Direct antenna received all the local channels, including some the RocketFish antenna doesn't receive at all. 2. The RocketFish antenna is pretty wide, limited where it can be installed. Overall, the antenna works, but the Antennas Direct models work better.

Took Very little setup effort. Had it up and running quickly. Very clear picture, but had to try a couple of locations to get it the best. Made my own mast for better reception for my application.

Use for vacation home in Poconos. When mounted outside on chimney able to pick up stations about 30 miles away which allows us to "cut the cord" for our home's occasional use. Would purchase again. Reasonably easy install--took about an hour,

I have tried several inexpensive HD antennas and they just kinda of worked. I paid a few dollars more for the Rocketfish (not much more) and installed outside, and it worked. HD antenna’s will never be perfect, but if you just want the basic stations in your area, they are a good alternative to expensive cable. I like the first one so well and bought a second for an Airbnb unit. It was easy to install. Definitely recommend.

I’ve purchased and tried using those cheaper outside antennas... junk. This actually works. I get 20 or so perfectly watchable channels, and the major network signals are excellent. I’m in NE Irvine.

This antenna gets my highest commendation. It is powerful (got 1 channel poorly with cheap China contraption; get 33 channels with this Rocketfish); and its effectiveness is understated ("up to 60 mile range") versus the 3C (cheap China contraption) that it replaced advertised "range up to 125 miles" whereas it barely got one channel thirty miles away. Yes, it's more expensive than the 3C's that are all really just alike and range from $25 to $50; but it's worth every penny of the price difference. Beside its superior power, it's very substantial and sturdy built (versus the flimsy 3C tin, aluminum and plastic units that bend and break if you're not super careful handling them). My advice: don't waste your money trying to save a few bucks if you want the product to do what it's supposed to do: go for the Rocketfish. You'll be glad you did. By the way, I'm not in any way compensated by or affiliated with Rocketfish. I just think these days if you run into a product that's good quality for the money, the manufacturer deserves to be recognized for it.

This is a very simple product to install. I now get about 10 free channels including local news and sports. I tapped into the pre-wired cable to bring it into the house. No cable bill now, just Wi-Fi and over the air free.

Easy to put together. And some what easy to install on outside wall with a little bit of drilling for holes. All parts were in the box and a little bit of knowledge.

I finally cut the cord this year and this is a great antenna. I am getting over 100 channels for free. Installing it only took a few minutes and with my new Samsung 75” smart tv as soon as I connected it the tv picked up all of the channels automatically and I didn’t have to do anything.

I can't say enough good about this antenna. I have purchased three of them. I gave one to my son as he had tried 8 different antennas and none of them worked well in his apartment, and that includes the power antennas. When we hooked this one up and just have inside in a window he gets more than 40 channels compared to the 12 he got with the other antennas. I have mine indoors as well, and reading the reviews if you don't want to mount outdoors you can place them in the attic. The only drawback I found is that they are highly directional, which means they "MUST" be aimed at where the signal towers are located. I looked at everyone's satellite dish to find my best angle and direction and works great. One for the bedroom and one for whenever I purchase another TV for living room. You won't be disappointed. My old power antenna was an RCA from wallyworld, but it didn't pickup all the stations I now get.

Great antenna. Signal strength is around 95% and we are 35 miles from nearest TV station. Channels stay on and doesn’t cut out like other antennas we had and returned. Very good antenna.

Light weight and easy to install. I put it on the mounting hardware where a satellite dish used to be, aimed it toward the area where most stations have broadcast antennas, hooked it into the house cable wiring, and now get over 40 channels, most in HD.

      Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review on your new Outdoor Antenna. I am happy to read that you were able to get a variety of local channels and some in HD. I know it can sometimes be difficult getting all of your local channels and with clear picture. If you ever need assistance, feel free to contact my team at any time.

I bought this to try to receive broadcasts that are approximately 60-70 miles away. This antenna did not work at all at my house. However, I gave it to some friends who live in a suburb of DFW, and they were able to pull in essentially every local station with no pixelization. And they did not have to hook up the signal booster. I was hoping my hilltop location would give me an advantage with this antenna, but I guess the distance was just too far. Based on what my friends in Keller Texas have told me, this does an excellent job there. It does seem to be well-made and comes with all the mounting hardware you need.

I have bought two of these antennas so far. One for the shop and most recently one for the house. In our local area a channel search provides almost 20 channels. Picture quality is second to none and installation is super easy! I've had friends over and they can't believe this little unit can provide such a high quality tv signal!

Bought this antenna a while back, and recently installed. Picture was MUCH better than expected, even through some evergreens. Unfortunately the inline amplifier tanked after a week, and neither Best Buy nor Rocketfish were responsive. Bought an amplifier from Amazon, plugged it in, and it works great. This antenna is definitely worth the money and the effort of providing your own tech support. Bye bye cable guy
