Two lag screws for the wall mount and one allen screw to attach the bracket. The steel is solid and not flexible- no way the TV is falling if this is installed properly. *Tip- check to spacing of your TV against the wall before you attach the bracket; it's a time saver instead of trying to mount it and discovering you have no clearance.
