My TV installer cringed when I showed him the mounts that I purchased. He felt that these were hard to work with and flimsy. He used them, but he told me that he was pretty sure I wouldn't be happy with this. That being said, the TV is hanging on the wall, so I'm satisfied.

The tv sets close to the mount and is hard to remove

Easy to install but to tilt in order to install cables it's almost impossible for a petite woman.

The TV I mounted is within the range of sizes it covers, but for some reason I don't feel like its sturdy enough...makes me kinda nervous

The most important aspect when mounting a TV is to make sure you can anchor the bracket in the wall studs. This bracket did not allow enough width and holes to anchor in the wall studs unless we wanted an off centered TV. We returned this bracket for a much wider bracket with more hole options.

Not the correct hardware for Samsung Smart TV. Needs 8mm bolts.

Not what I excpected. I said it tilted. Well it does not tilt very far!

This mount would be a lot better if allowed for tilt in either direction.

I Was Extremely Disappointed. It Goes Together Loosly. It Has No Clearance To The Wall To Allow A Even A Small Hand To Work. It Is Far Inferior To Other Products That Are Much More Affordabe. I Hope We Don't Have An Earthquake Because It Will Jump Off Its Rickity support

This product came quickly in the mail. e returned it because it would not fit our tv . I am sure it is a good product just not for the tv we have.

No-brainer to attach to TV and wall. Check your model TV to confirm that the mounting holes on the back of your TV will in fact match up with the holes on the mounting brackets. Also, make sure you adjust the tilt BEFORE you put the TV on the wall, because clearance behind the TV is minimal once installed and you won't be able to turn the tilt adjustment knobs while it's on the wall. Works really well, but slightly pricy. Overall, though, love it.

If you know how to find wall studs then you can hang a HDTV flat panel all by yourself. Okay, well it's better if you have two people to lift the tv and set it on the wall mount but you certainly don't need to pay the geek squad 250.00 to do it. Just remember to bolt to studs AND most importantly, use a LEVEL to level the wall mount so that your tv will hang straight. It's a simple device really and comes with easy instructions. Your wall mount bolts to the wall, your tv hangs on the wall mount; it's that easy.

This unit is pretty cool. I have a food truck and I use this mou t for my tv which is my menu. It was very easy to I stall and the direction were very clear. I have a coue of miunt at ho.e for bigger tvs and this one was by far the fastest and easiest to put on and up. I also love the clips on the back because it makes the tv feel very secure to the wall.

The instruction for the mount was easy to understand. I had the mount on the wall in about 10 minutes. The longest part was mounting the bars on the TV. I will be hard to lift the TV up on the mount by yourself. It’s best to have someone who can spot for you. I mounted this one in a log cabin so I didn’t have to locate studs in the wall. A good purchase.

When I purchased my TV from BestBuy it was an open-item display model that came without the pedestal, so I needed a mount. I bought this mount and installed it in 30 minutes. I am NOT a "handy" guy. I had to borrow a power-drill from my father-in-law, in fact. But, I found this mount very easy to install. I don't even have a level (I used an app on my Android phone). It installs into a single stud with two lag bolts for great support. Since it is a single-stud system, if I had been off in my measurements, it would have adjusted easily to be level. This RocketFish mount gives a good amount of room behind the TV to easily change cables and connected devices without the need to remove the TV from the wall. I am a BestBuy employee and work in the Home Theater department. I purchased this RocketFish Mount, and received no compensation from BestBuy or the manufacturer for this review.

The mount was easy to install. I highly recommend using the lag screws and putting them into the studs if you can. I rather rely on that sturdyness than wall anchors. Had a little difficulty getting the bottom of the tv brackets to snap onto the wall bracket, but I figured it out, no thanks to the instructions. Make sure you have help, no way you can do a 42" tv on your own. The nice thing about this mount is that it holds the tv nice and close to the wall. But because of that, you can only adjust the tilt by taking the tv off the wall mount. But once you have it set, you're good to go. Also it gives you pretty much every possible mounting bolts for all kinds of tv's.

The associate just showed me the more expensive mount and I saw this as we were walking back down the aisle, and I asked what the difference was and he said there wasn't one. My old TV was just flat mounted and was done before the current mounting standards were in place, so I had to redrill the holes in my wall, but this was a snap. Instructions were easy to read and the hardware was clearly marked. Had everything up in about 20 minutes. This mount feels like it supports great and swivels up and down which is perfect for the smaller room that it is in. Do not fall for the pretty display for the more expensive mount. The only trouble was getting this thing out of the box. The cardboard box brace was almost impossible to get out because it was packed so tight, and I was being cautious with the box not knowing if it was going to be easy and I would have to return.

I used this for a tv that's actually 42" instead of 40. It was easy to attach to the tv & then mount the tv to the wall. It's very simple, and works just like it should for a flat screen tv. you can only tilt the tv up or down, but can't turn it at all, which was what I wanted.
