Simple stand with basic up and down tilt is exactly what I wanted to keep the TV near the wall with some degree of tilt Incase of light interference or glare.

It was easy to set up. . I used it for a 50 inch tv. I would recommend the rocket fish brand and use it again myself. Fairly light weight , which made itveasier to install in the wall.

The tv, a 65 inch LG B8 OLED, is mounted at 5.5 feet, so I needed a mount that would tilt down to the proper angle. For those of you with a higher installation: The degree of tilt is limited but I believe I could raise the tv another half foot and still achieve a good viewing angle. It is sturdy and comes with the appropriate hardware to attach solidly to the wall. It has a variety of additional hardware for attaching the tv; therefore, if you are missing the screws/bolts that come with your tv, rest assured the mount will come with a replacement that will most likely fit. Finally, the mount when compared to other common big box options is fairly shallow, which was important to me because I wanted the tv to stick out from the wall as much as possible. And it does a good job for a mount that does also allow tilting. I would estimate the tv sticks out about 1.5 to 2 inches from the wall.

The only downside is that there isn’t much room behind the tv. I would suggest plugging in all power and hdmi and whatever else you might need before mounting it

Check to make sure you have all necessary tools.. then throw away instructions and get someone else to install... Easy to do... Professionally installed... And it will hold tv on wall without worrying if it was installed right...

It tilts enough and is easy to put the tv on the track and to take it off as well. There are several holes to use and it was easy to pit the provided lag screws in studs and still center the tv.

The tilt capability really came in handy when connecting cables to the underside of the back of the TV. I can't imagine how much of a pain it would've been with a fixed mount. The hardest part was trying to decide whether or not to use the included spacers. I ended up using the spacers and found the channel the spacers created works nicely for routing cables. ;-)
