Used this on the back of my 75inch samsung along with a new samsung sound bar. I swapped my old polk audio sound bar for a samsung and in the process broke this mount by removing a screw I shouldn't have. So I had to re-buy this to install the new one. My fault, I should have taken the tv off the wall when replacing the sound bar. Anyway, this sound bar mount is worth the money. And yes it's very easy to push the sound bar up flush against the tv. I have no visible gap.

I purchased it on the recommendation of the Best Buy employee who helped with my order, suggestion, do your own research!!!!

It works but it needs work just to work

It appears this is the only mounting choice BB had. Fifty dollars is probably too much. It's instructions and design would not work properly on our TV, and Insignia so I had to move things around to get it to work. 1. The instructions call for the mounting bar to be placed on the lower mounting holes of the TV. If I did that the bar would have covered up ALL the rear inputs and outputs. I moved it up to the top mounting holes. That worked OK but the halyard used to release the friction devices for the vertical bars is then too short. I didn't think the halyard was a good idea. 2. The vertical bars do NOT go straight vertical, one canted in to the center of the RV making adjustment to the soundbar difficult. 3. The brackets on the bottom of the vertical bars did not line up to the mounting holes on the soundbar without sticking out from the sides of the soundbar. That looked terrible. I had to flip the verticals around and loosen and rotate the brackets to make them work properly. At that one of the brackets was canted off horizontal so that I had to fiddle with position to get it attached to the soundbar. In the end, the soundbar is mounted and this works but it follows one of my personal axioms; "The Universal Fits All Never Does." Be prepared to spend more time than necessary getting it to work. Yes, I would recommend it but only because it was all they had.
