Bought for business trip, it would not charge the iPad fast enough to keep it charged while using data for google maps. Returned it for different charger that did better

I plugged it in and, when I removed it, it damaged my cigarette lighter outlet. I had to buy a new cigarette lighter outlet as well as a new fuse.

Up until I purchased this Rocketfish iPhone car charging cable, I was very frustrated at all the others on the market. The problem was that all other chargers have a fatter plug that goes into the bottom of the iPhone 4S. Not a problem if you have no case, but DEFINITELY A PROBLEM when using a case because the fatter plugs won't connect properly putting excess stress and strain on the connector. BUT... then came this Rocketfish cable with a THIN CONNECTOR end just like the true Apple cables. It slide in EFFORTLESSLY into the 30 pin connector at the bottom of the iPhone 4s and simply works EXTREMELY WELL! FINALLY... I found a cable that I will keep and that works... AND that is INEXPENSIVE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I honestly purchased this charger for $13.99. It plugs into the (cig ligher area?) or whatever it's called. Anyway, it's decent. It's not great. There were a few times where it was plugged in but not charging my phone. I have to rotate it in order for it to work. I know I chose not to recommend this, but it really depends on what you're looking for. The price is definitely higher now but I'm judging it based on my experience. It was cheap and effective but there's better out there. I just got an iPhone 5 now so I really can't use it anymore.

I needed a car charger that did not suck. This fit the bill perfectly. There really isn't much to say about it. Seems sturdy and well-constructed. It does what it says it will do. I am happy.

Bought this mainly to charge iPhones when we lose power during hurricane season. However there might be instances where we also want to charge an iPhone while on a long trip to use the phone for calls, Bluetooth streaming, Pandora. Only drawback is the little bit of static heard in the audio path when the car is under power. However I have experienced similar products with much greater static.

I find I use the car charger almost everyday. It assures that I had plenty of battery power on my phone since i do use the 3G sometimes. iwent back to Best Buys and purchased two ,so my daughter and son in law could have one.

Just purchased this in the store, it was the most affordable option and I like that you can plug a 2nd usb item into it. Fells well built and built to last. I have only used it today, but would still recommend it. I will update my review if anything changes.

Its a car charger... It works. No problems. I like the power indicator light so you know it's in the cigarette lighter correctly.
