The first one I got only worked with one rear speaker. I had to exchange it for another and that one worked with both. So it’s questionable how long this would last. The replacement worked well with no issues. One inconvenience is that you need to turn on both the receiver and transmitter every time you are going to watch TV and want the wireless speakers on. They obviously need to be powered on to work, but depending on where you place the receiver and transmitter, it could be annoying to reach for them to turned them on and off. One potential work around would be to use 2 smart plugs to turn them on and off with Alexa. Ideally they would auto power off or on based on whether they were receiving an audio signal, similar to how some subwoofers work.

Didn't work with my receiver

The receiver wouldn't recognize it and it would go into protect mode. I was looking at this for two years and finally pulled the trigger on it. I was very sad when it didn't work.
